Windows 11 was released three years ago but has yet to win favor among users. The majority still prefer Windows 10. With the RevertSV program, Windows 11 can easily adopt the appearance of the tenth version of the OS.
This is purely a visual change— the program does not alter the system's internal functions, only the user interface. YouTuber LagLife, the developer of the program, claims that this solution works “with a single click”:
“I decided to create this because there have been many attempts to 'restore' the [interface], but none have been fully successful. Once it's ready, I'll release a script to revert an existing installation to the Windows 10 user interface with just a click.”
Another YouTube user, Come On Windows, recently tested the application on a virtual machine, which you can view below. It appears that the uDWM.DLL and DWMAPI.DLL files from Valinet were utilized in the development of this utility. The Desktop Window Manager (DWM) was introduced by Microsoft back in the Windows Vista days.
The RevertSV program is available for download. While it could be interesting, it's recommended to experiment with it on a virtual machine. More information about RevertSV can be found on the author’s YouTube channel.
