The company Garmin appears to be gearing up for the launch of new Instinct 3 smartwatches, which will include a solar charging version. This information surfaced on the support page of the brand's official website, where repair costs for various Garmin products were listed.
Instinct 3 Solar was spotted on Garmin's site in Spain. The 45mm black variant is cataloged under the model number 010-02934-00, with a reported repair cost of €133.33. In comparison, the repair cost for the older Instinct 2 Solar model is €128.57, suggesting a potentially higher recommended price for the new model. The Instinct 2 Solar, typically sold for $449.99, is currently available on Amazon for $348.00.
It is currently unclear whether the Instinct 3 smartwatches will be available in the same three sizes as their predecessor: 40mm, 45mm, and 50mm. Presumably, there will be options with and without solar charging support.
Rumors suggest that the Garmin Instinct 3 may hit the market in early 2025.
