The game "S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl" has climbed to the top spot among paid games in the global Steam chart.
In the overall sales rankings, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 secured the second position, only falling behind the free-to-play Counter-Strike 2. It outperformed notable titles such as Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Farming Simulator 25, and EA SPORTS FC 25, which is currently on sale with a 50% discount.
Also featured in the top ten most popular games on Steam are PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, Call of Duty: Warzone, and Dota 2.
Recently, GSC Game World updated the system requirements for the game, dividing them into four categories. For a comfortable experience in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 at high settings (1440p, 60 FPS), a processor like the Intel Core i7-11700 or AMD Ryzen 7 5800X is needed, along with a graphics card such as the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Ti / RTX 4070 or AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT, as well as 32 GB of RAM. For maximum settings at 2160p resolution, top-tier graphics cards like the RTX 4080 or RX 7900 XTX are recommended.
"S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl" is set to release on November 20 — on PC (Steam) and Xbox Series X/S, and will also be available immediately on Game Pass. The game is already available for pre-download on Xbox consoles.
