Blizzard has announced and unexpectedly released Warcraft I: Remastered, Warcraft II: Remastered, and Warcraft III: Reforged 2.0 — all of which are now available on Battle.net.
As Warcraft celebrates its 30th anniversary, Blizzard unveiled and launched remasters of the games that started it all during the Warcraft 30th Anniversary Direct broadcast.
Firstly, Warcraft I: Remastered reimagines the classic 1994 RTS Warcraft: Orcs & Humans with new HD textures, widescreen support, modern control (right-click movement), and an enhanced interface. Players can switch between the classic and new visual styles at any time. Warcraft II: Remastered also received updated graphics, controls, and interfaces for 2024. This game was pivotal in making the Warcraft series popular among PC gamers.
The surprise announcement also includes the return of another classic — Warcraft III. Blizzard has revamped the troubled 2020 remaster of Warcraft III: Reforged with a new patch 2.0. This update enhances the game environment, lighting, and user interface, scaling the classic assets of Warcraft III to HD. The update also brings improved audio, numerous gameplay enhancements, and a matchmaking system.
All three remasters are now available as part of the new Warcraft Battle Chest for ₴1357. If purchased separately, the prices are ₴339 for Warcraft I: Remastered, ₴508 for Warcraft II: Remastered, and ₴745 for Warcraft III: Reforged.
Interestingly, Warcraft I: Remastered, Warcraft II: Remastered, and Warcraft III: Reforged 2.0 have not been added to PC Game Pass.
