Nvidia App out of beta: new program will replace GeForce Experience and Control Panel

NVIDIA has launched a new universal application for managing graphics cards. The company announced this on its website.

The developers have introduced the final version of the application called NVIDIA App after several months of testing and multiple beta versions. NVIDIA is not abandoning its old programs just yet, as the new application does not currently include certain features, particularly Surround settings and Multiple Display Mode. Updates with these capabilities will be released later.

The NVIDIA App enables users to manage all aspects of their graphics card from a single location: updating drivers, adjusting display and performance settings, utilizing an updated overlay, and enabling G-Sync. Notably, the overlay supports video recording in AV1 format (4K/120 fps), AI-driven RTX filters, and customizable display of gaming statistics.

One significant advantage is the absence of mandatory NVIDIA account registration (unlike GeForce Experience). However, authorization remains available for accessing special offers and rewards.

The new application operates on computers with GTX 800/900, RTX 20/30/40, and MX 100/200/300 graphics cards running Windows 10 and 11 with driver version 551.52 or newer.
