Motorola has released a new mid-range smartphone Moto G Stylus 5G. The novelty has an updated design and several improvements compared to its predecessor.
The screen has improved in particular. The Moto G Stylus 5G 2024 is equipped with a 6.7-inch display with Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The current model also features 15W wireless charging support. Additionally, the 5000 mAh battery can be charged with 30W fast wired charging.
For unknown reasons, Motorola decided to continue using the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor - just like in the previous model. However, the RAM has been increased from 6GB to 8GB with a storage capacity of 128GB. The device retains features such as a headphone jack and a microSD memory card slot.
The stylus also has several improvements. Motorola uses a "larger contact area" and some software updates to enhance the user interface and reduce latency when using the stylus.
The main camera still has a 50-megapixel sensor with optical image stabilization, while the 13-megapixel ultrawide and 32-megapixel selfie cameras have been updated. The selfie camera utilizes pixel binning for better sensitivity in low-light conditions. The back panel has a soft-to-the-touch, plastic vegan leather texture. The phone will be available in two color options: Caramel Latte and Orange-Red.
The Moto G 5G Stylus 2024 will go on sale on May 30 for $399.
