The Ukrainian Naval Forces specified the details of the strike on UAV warehouses in the Russian city of Yeysk on the night of June 21. According to the new information, 120 unmanned aerial vehicles, including "Shahed" drones and others, as well as instructors and technical personnel of the base, were destroyed.
Thus, with the forces and means of the Ukrainian Naval Forces and the Security Service of Ukraine, objects at the range of the 726th Air Defense Training Center (military unit 33859) in Yeysk, Krasnodar Krai, Russia, were hit. The center trained military personnel of the aggressor state to use various types of UAVs. As a result of the strikes, the following were destroyed:
- Shahed-136 drones ("Geran-2") - 20
- Combat drones "Lancet" - 50
- Reconnaissance drones "ZALA" - 40
- Reconnaissance drones "SuperCam" - 10
The aftermath of the strike is confirmed by a striking comparison of satellite photos before and after. The destruction indeed appears to be extensive.
The Ukrainian Navy confirmed the destruction of the "Shahed" warehouse and associated infrastructure. Storage and preparation facilities for UAV deployment, training buildings, control and communication points of UAV crews were hit. Qualified instructors who trained personnel to operate UAV launchers and cadets who were taught to strike Ukrainian territory were also destroyed.
