Bandai Namco Europe will be the publisher of Dawnwalker — a new dark fantasy RPG developed by former creators of The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077.
The studio Rebel Wolves, established in February 2022 by former CD Projekt Red employees, announced the title of its debut project at the beginning of 2024.
According to the developers, Dawnwalker will be an open-world adventure RPG set in a medieval Europe environment. The game will feature a dark atmosphere along with a narrative campaign. It is set to launch on PC and PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
Rebel Wolves plans to share more details about Dawnwalker by the end of 2024. The release date of the game is currently unknown.
Meanwhile, CD Projekt RED is working on The Witcher 4, code-named Polaris. According to CEO Michal Nowakowski, a team of 400 people is involved in the project. It is being developed using the Unreal Engine 5 and will be the first installment of a new trilogy.
