AMD has announced the presentation date for the Ryzen 9000 X3D and a price reduction for the other Ryzen 9000 processors.
The AMD Ryzen 9000X3D chips will be released on November 7. AMD also revealed a decrease in the recommended prices for customers on previously released Ryzen 9000 processors as part of a holiday promotion that started on October 20. The promotion lowers the price of the flagship Ryzen 9 9950X by $50, and the Ryzen 7 9700X and Ryzen 5 9600X by $30.
Currently, the Ryzen 7000X3D processors are regarded as the fastest gaming chips on the market. It does not appear that the existing Intel processors will change this situation. This leaves the door wide open for AMD's X3D to dominate among gamers.
AMD has not yet disclosed how many new AMD Ryzen 9000X3D models will be released, nor their prices. However, recent unofficial information about the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, which is expected to replace the top-tier Ryzen 7 7800X3D, suggests it may launch soon.
The Ryzen 7 9800X3D has also appeared in several retail stores at a price of around $500 (initial prices are typically inflated). Considering that the Ryzen 7 7800X3D has vanished from all retail outlets in the U.S., there is little doubt that its replacement is preparing for release.
