Samsung has officially unveiled the highly anticipated Galaxy Fold Special Edition. However, it won’t be available in all markets, at least for now.

Currently, the Samsung Galaxy Fold Special Edition will be available only in South Korea for pre-order starting October 25. Rumors also suggest it may launch in China.

The new Galaxy Fold is the thinnest and lightest smartphone in the lineup. With a thickness of 10.6 mm and a weight of 236 g, it is 1.5 mm thinner and 3 g lighter than the existing Fold6. The phone is only available in black, with a striped pattern on its body.

The main screen measures 8 inches with an aspect ratio of 20:18, making it the largest display in the Galaxy Fold series. The external screen measures 6.5 inches with a 21:9 aspect ratio, offering a more conventional format. The Fold 6 has a 6.3-inch display.

Despite the new slim design, the Galaxy Fold Special Edition is the first in the series to feature 200 MP cameras. In addition to the new main camera, the smartphone includes a 12 MP telephoto lens, a 10 MP ultra-wide camera, a 4 MP under-display camera, and a 10 MP selfie camera on the external screen. The phone comes with 16 GB of RAM, 512 GB of storage, and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy processor.

Otherwise, the Samsung Galaxy Fold Special Edition shares the same features and specifications as the Fold6. The phone is priced at approximately $2030.
