The Rogue Prince of Persia is a roguelite game where players will have to move through various colorful locations and defeat enemies using the acrobatic abilities of the main character.
Originally, the game was planned to be released in early access on May 14. However, a week before the target date, the game Hades II was released (also in early access), which turned out to be very popular, exceeding 100,000 concurrent players and conquering the Steam rankings. In order to avoid competition with one of the most anticipated games of the year, Evil Empire decided to postpone the release of their game.

The additional couple of weeks will not only allow them to ride out the wave of popularity of Hades II and attract attention to their project, but also give them additional time to optimize the game before its release in early access. Although the whole point of releasing a game in early access is to get feedback from players on a project that is far from completion, developers still want their games to be in the best possible state when the public first tries them.
