Australian comedian and streamer Tom Walker showcased gameplay of GTA 4 using the Warp Eleven mod, which fantastically accelerates all vehicles in the game (except Roman's car). This automotive apocalypse is one of the funniest gaming videos.
The city of Liberty City is filled with a multitude of cars that crash and explode at insane speeds. Avoiding death is nearly impossible. Sedans, trucks, motorcycles—every vehicle in GTA is flying around, sometimes literally, with collisions and explosions happening every second.
If Nico stands still, a car will soon crash into him. If he dashes across what seems to be an empty road, something comes out of nowhere and sends him flying. Simply getting from point A to point B becomes an uphill battle with constant deaths and restarts.
It may be the relentless attempts that make it amusing, as Walker repeatedly tries to complete one of the game's early missions, which involves reaching Roman's apartment. It quickly turns into an entertaining spectacle. Walker learns to navigate the chaotic game world, using various mechanics and relatively quiet spots to progress—but sooner or later, a car flies out from nowhere straight at him.
The constant crashes, hits, and awkward deaths gradually turn into something astonishing and unusual. A massive swarm of cars flying through the air in continuous motion, like a flock of birds. Sometimes vehicles simply hover in the air. Cars take off into the sky from both sides of the character on bridges—a bizarre automotive fireworks display. At one point, Roman's taxi launches into the air, and Nico jumps into the water to avoid exploding with it.
This mod is for those tired of the usual GTA mechanics and looking for real thrills. Even a minute of watching the video can lift your spirits.
