In the near future, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine will launch new features in the "Reservist+" application. The first of these is recruitment, which is expected to go live in October, according to the press service of the Ministry of Defense.

Along with the October update, "Reservist+" will include current job vacancies in military units, allowing users to quickly find their future service positions. The new recruitment service in "Reservist+" will help users choose roles that best match their experiences, skills, and preferences. Users will have access to both combat and non-combat positions.

At the start of the job search process, users will need to fill out a brief questionnaire. Based on this information and selected skills, the system will suggest the most suitable options. The app will feature detailed job descriptions, including information about the brigades, their command, achievements, and media coverage.

The service is noted for its user-friendly job selection process and system algorithms. The interface will enable quick decision-making: users can click "plus" to save an offer for later review or "minus" to decline it.

The second major update is aimed at reservists who are eligible for deferment. The Ministry of Defense plans to introduce a new feature in "Reservist+" that will allow reservists to request a deferment without the need to visit the recruitment center and submit paper applications. This new service will enable citizens eligible for deferment to submit a request in just a few minutes via the mobile application.

As noted by Deputy Minister of Defense Yekaterina Chernogorenko, implementing this feature requires amendments to the regulatory framework and ensuring the technological readiness of partners who manage the data registries.

Starting in November 2024, three types of deferments are planned for various categories of citizens: full-time students, large families, and individuals with disabilities. The Ministry of Defense is currently working on changes to the regulatory framework to coordinate this innovation.

It is worth recalling that this feature has been discussed since August.
