The latest issue in the classic version of Microsoft Outlook causes crashes when users open too many emails at once — the application shuts down automatically, according to TechRadar.
Microsoft has acknowledged the issue and advised users, among other things, to "not open more than 60 emails at a time".
“Unfortunately, the issue is real. It may be temporary, but if it happens again, you will need to restart Outlook. Close several windows or applications and try again.”
It has been reported that a message appears during the crash, indicating a lack of memory or system resources, although Microsoft has not officially confirmed the cause, only hinting at the involvement of “user interface objects.” No information about a patch has been released so far.
In the meantime, Outlook has introduced personalized themes from Copilot, although they are only available to Copilot Pro users or business clients. Users can create a theme based on the weather or their current location, provided they enable location services in the application.
