The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has launched an experimental project for a Unified Platform for Housing and Utility Services. This was announced by Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal during a government meeting on September 3.
The government claims that the launch of this platform is a significant step toward organizing housing and utility services. Denis Shmyhal stated that it will automate relevant processes, provide accessible and user-friendly services, enhance consumer accounting, and allow for better quality control of services. The project also includes the creation of an electronic cabinet for consumers of housing and utility services.
“Users will have an electronic cabinet and will be able to access all the information about management, service providers, prices and tariffs, the outcomes of their requests, and they will also be able to sign or terminate contracts online,” Denis Shmyhal added.
Additionally, the new platform will be integrated with other existing information systems to ensure seamless data exchange.
According to Denis Shmyhal, the Cabinet expects as many communities as possible to join the implementation of this project.
