Reddit detectives have unveiled yet another case of the century: the mystery of a license plate.
Rockstar Games released a new promotional clip for GTA Online, which has caught the attention of fans of the series. The video features a pizza delivery scooter, but it is the scooter's license plate that sparked heated discussions within the community.
The license plate on the scooter shows the letters "OCT" in the upper right corner, while the word "PIZZ4" includes the number "4". By combining these elements, fans have speculated that the date "October 4" could be the potential release day for the new GTA 6 trailer.

Gamer reactions were immediate. Numerous discussions about this theory appeared on Reddit forums. Some users even speculated that October 4, 2025, could be the game's release date. Others referred to it as an "obvious hint," noting that Rockstar Games enjoys embedding such hidden messages.
However, not all fans share this enthusiasm. A portion of the community considers these speculations "far-fetched" and jokes that some fans have "overdosed on hope." Skeptics remind everyone that similar theories have surfaced in the past and turned out to be unfounded.
It is worth noting that this is not the first time fans of Grand Theft Auto have attempted to find hidden messages in Rockstar Games' materials. Last year, the community was actively discussing the "GTA 6 moon phase theory", which also proved to be baseless.
For reference, Rockstar Games' recent GTA 6 trailer reached a new record of 200 million views on YouTube. Take-Two assures that the game will be released in the fall of 2025 without delays, although the actors' strike against the use of artificial intelligence may affect the company’s plans.
