Cyberpunk 2077 will be available on Mac computers early next year. This was announced during Apple's video presentation showcasing the new MacBook Pro powered by the M4 chip.
Developers at CD Projekt Red assure that the Mac version of Cyberpunk 2077 will fully leverage the advantages of Apple silicon chips and advanced Metal technologies. Players will experience features such as ray tracing, frame generation, and built-in spatial audio, all of which promise to enhance the gameplay experience.
The game will be available in the Mac App Store and on Steam. The Ultimate Edition is being released for Mac, which includes the critically acclaimed expansion Phantom Liberty. CD Projekt Red notes that owners of the PC version in Steam will be able to obtain a free copy for Mac. The only requirement is to have a Mac with an Apple Silicon processor.
For context, Cyberpunk 2077 originally launched in 2020. Despite a troubled start, the game is now in great shape and ready to win over Mac users.
