The new Diablo 4 class, Spiritborn, from the latest expansion has become astronomically more powerful than others due to game bugs.

The most prominent players in the Diablo 4 community have spent the past few weeks developing the Spiritborn class. They have discovered significant glitches that exponentially increase damage regardless of the build. One of the bugs multiplies damage more than fivefold, and it is very easy to exploit.

There is a passive damage bonus that rewards players for creating shields, granting a temporary health bonus equal to the total health a character currently has. Ideally, this should reflect health from all bonuses without gear, but it actually equates to the total health. Consequently, when total health is taken into account, damage skyrockets. Moreover, the effects of Spiritborn skills stack, including from runewords.

And this is just one bug; there are others. The class mechanic “Jaguar,” which uses all damage dealt by the character over the last 0.5 seconds for a very strong hit, incorrectly reapplies all bonuses a second time. The Resolve bonus on gear can be boosted significantly beyond any other stat in the game, greatly increasing both defense and damage. A staff that depletes mana every time a skill guaranteeing critical hits is used proportionally boosts damage based on resource generation, and no one knows why.

YouTuber NickTew provides a clear explanation of how each of these mechanics is broken and how they correlate to the damage dealt. The Pit, the game's most challenging dungeon, features monsters with billions of health. Before the Vessel of Hatred expansion, no one had even reached the highest levels. But Spiritborn can break through it. A character has conquered it using a build that achieved 235 trillion damage.

At the time of writing, Blizzard has fixed one of the bugs related to animation and hotkeys. However, other bugs are predicted to persist until the next season. Additionally, researchers are discovering new exploits regularly. For now, it’s a good time to capitalize on the Spiritborn class and develop builds that are not just top-tier but extremely powerful.
