Audi has expanded its electric vehicle lineup with the introduction of the Q6 Sportback e-tron model. This coupe-like crossover made its debut at the 2024 Paris Motor Show.
The Audi Q6 Sportback e-tron features a completely redesigned roofline, distinguishing it from its more conventional counterpart, the Audi Q6 e-tron. This modification enhances aerodynamics, contributing to an increased driving range. The model boasts a claimed range of over 644 km according to the WLTP cycle (in its top configuration).
The Sportback version offers a variety of powertrains. The base model is equipped with a single motor that drives the rear wheels. A Quattro version with dual motors and all-wheel drive is also available. The top configuration with two motors delivers a power output of 489 hp and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds.
Thanks to its 800 V electrical architecture, the Q6 Sportback e-tron can be charged quite rapidly. Fast charging with direct current at up to 270 kW can replenish the battery from 10% to 80% in just 22 minutes under optimal conditions. A 10-minute charge can add enough range to travel 266 km.
The interior of the Audi Q6 Sportback e-tron features an 11.9-inch virtual cockpit display and a 14.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system powered by Android Automotive OS. Additionally, there is an optional 10.9-inch display for passengers and a heads-up display with augmented reality.
While the sloped roofline of the Sportback design creates a sportier profile, it slightly reduces cargo space compared to the standard Q6 e-tron. The Q6 Sportback e-tron offers 510 liters of cargo capacity, which expands to 1370 liters with the rear seats folded down. The front trunk provides an additional 62 liters of storage space.
The Audi Q6 Sportback e-tron will go on sale in Europe later this year, starting at a price of €65,900. The top-end SQ6 Sportback e-tron is priced from €96,200.
