Detailed Insights into New Dragon Age Game's Character Editor

The upcoming game from the Dragon Age series will surprise players with explicit scenes. During a visit to the BioWare office in Edmonton, journalists saw nudity of characters in the hero creation editor.

In previous BioWare games, nudity was mostly hinted at. Characters appeared without clothes, but players did not see their intimate body parts. The Veilguard seems to go further. Developers do not reveal all the details, leaving room for surprises.

The Frostbite graphics engine provides high-quality visual design. This will add realism and attractiveness to explicit scenes. Players will be able to experience the novelties in the fall when Dragon Age: The Veilguard is released.

The game director, Corinne Bouche, confirmed that The Veilguard is aimed at an adult audience. This hints at the presence of explicit scenes in other parts of the game as well, especially in romantic storylines. Developers assure that nudity will not be an end in itself, but a tool for creating deeper and more emotional stories.

What Else is Known About the Character Editor

Recently, Gameinformer journalists shared a lot of interesting information about the character editor in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. For example, players will be able to choose from 40 types of appearances and adjust skin tone. Developers have added options for representing vitiligo and adjusting facial features.

In the editor, players will also be able to adjust height, shoulder width, breast size, and other body parameters. Special attention is paid to facial details: it will be possible to finely adjust the eyes, nose, and ears. There are over 30 makeup options, combining modern trends with the fantasy world of Dragon Age. Tattoos, scars, and body paintings hold cultural significance for the various races in the game.
