Opel has unveiled the redesigned Mokka Electric for the 2025 model year. The vehicle features an updated exterior and interior, but offers fewer options for powertrain selection.
Previously, the Opel Mokka Electric was available in two configurations: a 50 kWh battery with a 136 hp (100 kW) motor and a 54 kWh battery with a 156 hp (115 kW) motor. Now, only the latter option remains. In 2025, customers will receive only the latter configuration—with a 115 kW engine and a 54 kWh battery.
The good news is that the manufacturer has reduced the price of the electric vehicle. The updated Mokka Electric for the 2025 model year is priced at €36,740, which is €7,980 less than the comparable configuration from the previous year. However, this is €4,060 more than the older base model.
Due to a recent change in Stellantis' strategy, the trim options for the Opel Mokka have also been scaled back. While the Elegance and GS trims offered a less powerful engine, and the Ultimate package had a 115 kW engine, the Mokka is now available only in the Edition and GS trims. There are no technical changes to the powertrain.
In addition to subtle design changes, there are a few significant updates to the interior. The steering wheel now features a flat bottom, the seats are upholstered in new fabric made from recycled materials, and the central console and its display have been refreshed. Owners will enjoy a 10-inch driver’s display and a large central screen with the latest version of the infotainment software.
