The Google Store now features refurbished Pixel 6, Pixel 6A, and Pixel 7 models in a dedicated section.
The company states that these smartphones undergo thorough inspections by technicians, which include assessments of the battery, camera, casing, and displays, with repairs done using only original components, ensuring they "will not fall short in quality compared to new models."
According to 9to5google, refurbished Pixel 6 and 7 come with a one-year warranty and the same level of support offered to new smartphone owners. All models are sold with the latest version of Android and chargers, along with a discount of 40% off the original price (in comparison, Apple’s Certified Refurbished program offers only up to 15% off):
- Pixel 6 — $339 (originally $599)
- Pixel 6 Pro — $539 (originally $899)
- Pixel 6A — $249 (originally $449)
- Pixel 7 — $429 (originally $599)
- Pixel 7 Pro — $629 (originally $899)
The prices listed are for the 128GB storage models; however, Google representative Patrick Seybold told The Verge that more models will be available soon.
