The luxurious electric sedan Genesis Electrified G80 has received an upgrade that enhances its sophistication and comfort during operation. The company has introduced a more spacious interior, an updated exterior design, a wider array of features, and extended range.

Equipped with a fourth-generation battery of 94.5 kWh, the new G80 now boasts a range of up to 475 km. To improve driving dynamics, Genesis has enhanced the front and rear bushings, added electronically controlled suspension, and implemented active rear-wheel steering. Additionally, the manufacturer has lengthened the G80's wheelbase by 130 mm to 3140 mm, elevating it to flagship status. The aerodynamics have also been improved.

The extended wheelbase ensures "best-in-class rear-seat comfort." Rear passengers now have 995 mm of legroom, which is 83 mm more than the previous model, and they enjoy an additional 20 mm of headroom (950 mm). The cabin has become even quieter thanks to the new Active Sound design (e-ASD).

At the center of the cabin is a 27-inch OLED infotainment display along with a driver’s display that can be split into two or three screens. The Genesis Electrified G80 upgrade features a new Bang & Olufsen audio system with 17 speakers and Dolby ATMOS support. Among other new features are an in-cabin fingerprint authentication system, a heated front center armrest, a memory positioning system for the passenger seat, three-zone climate control, and more. Additional conveniences include a one-touch rear door opening system, an electrically-operated door curtain, and an intelligent rear entertainment system.

To ensure smooth and comfortable rides, a new Chauffeur Mode has been added, which optimizes torque and suspension settings for a seamless driving experience. There's also a Chauffeur Brake Mode for optimizing braking.

The updated electric vehicle, Genesis Electrified G80, will soon be available for sale in Korea at a price of 89.19 million won ($66,900). Sales in Europe and North America are also set to begin shortly.
