Kia has unveiled the 2025 model year electric SUV EV9. The company has added several new features and capabilities to the standard package while keeping the price unchanged. With this move, the automaker aims to boost sales.
The 2025 Kia EV9 comes with new standard features such as a surround-view system, suede headliners, and a new two-tone steering wheel. All trim levels include updated safety features like blind-spot monitoring, front and rear parking collision avoidance, and distance alert while parking.
Additionally, several paid extras are available. Kia has introduced a heads-up display that can be purchased separately for $440, and the "Comfort" package with Kia Digital Key 2 now costs $815, down from the previous $1100.
Despite these updates, Kia has kept the prices of the EV9 unchanged for 2025. The base model with a single motor (Single-Motor Air) starts at $55,500, equipped with a 99.8 kWh battery and a range of 501 km. The dual-motor version (Dual-Motor Air) starts at $58,500, featuring the same battery but a reduced range of 445 km. A "sports" version, the Dual-Motor GT-Line, is also available, offering a motor power of up to 380 hp (238 kW) and a torque of 650 Nm, starting from $63,000.
