MSI is set to launch a new model of the graphics card, the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super, dedicated to the highly anticipated game "S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl."
MSI has adopted a new strategy for creating special edition graphics cards by focusing on a unified cooling design for models inspired by popular gaming franchises. Recently, the manufacturer introduced a World of Warcraft edition to celebrate the game's 20th anniversary, as well as a Wukong Edition commissioned by NVIDIA.
Shortly, MSI plans to release a third model in this series—the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super 16G Gaming Slim Stalker 2 Edition. Information about this card has surfaced in the Eurasian Economic Commission database. This graphics card is dedicated to the game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, which is scheduled for release on November 20. The game will be available on PC (Steam, GOG, EGS), Xbox Series X, S, and will be part of Game Pass.
Unlike the World of Warcraft and Wukong versions, which are based on the RTX 4070 Super, the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Edition will feature the more powerful RTX 4070 Ti Super. The cooling design of the new model will align with the Gaming X Slim series but will showcase a unique color scheme and a special backplate. It is likely that the graphics card will come bundled with the game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, which makes sense given its price of over $800.
MSI is also preparing an upgrade for the RTX 4070 GDDR6 lineup. The company is developing new E1 options for the Ventus 2X and 3X models. However, the model names do not indicate memory details, which may suggest changes in their configurations. Furthermore, the complete list of new models includes the RTX 3050 6GB, which was released earlier this year.
Notably, at the recent Gamescom 2024 festival, the developers of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 showcased a new trailer featuring Scar.
