Realme has developed a new fast charging technology for smartphones with a power output of 320W. This achievement surpasses the previous fast charging record of 300W set by the Xiaomi Redmi brand. This new innovation is set to transform our understanding of device charging by establishing a new standard for speed and efficiency.

A detailed presentation of the new technology will take place during the Realme Technology Carnival event scheduled for August 14. In the meantime, only snippets about this groundbreaking solution have been shared. For instance, a leaked video shows that a Realme device charged from 0% to 17% in just 35 seconds.

The transition to 320W charging will significantly reduce smartphone charging times and enhance the capabilities of Realme devices. For example, the Realme GT Neo5, which offers 240W charging, can be fully charged in only 9 minutes. With the new system, a complete charge is expected to take less than 5 minutes. However, official specifications and the timeline for the technology's market release will be announced during the presentation.

The previous record for fast charging at 300W from Xiaomi, although announced back in February, has yet to be available on the market. During its announcement, Redmi claimed that their smartphone could reach a charge level of 20% in just one minute, 50% in 2 minutes and 12 seconds, and then 100% in just under 5 minutes.
