The presentation of the new Realme GT 7 smartphone series is expected to take place on November 4. Ahead of this event, the company has decided to showcase one of the key features of the Realme GT 7 Pro - the Samsung Eco² OLED Plus display.

This is an 8T LTPO panel that lacks the polarizing layer typical of traditional OLED panels, thereby enhancing contrast and visibility. Realme claims that the panel on the GT 7 Pro can achieve a maximum global brightness of over 2000 nits and a local peak brightness of over 6000 nits.

Even more impressive is that, despite the high brightness levels, the new panel consumes 52% less power compared to the panel used in the Realme GT 6. Realme has also confirmed that the GT 7 Pro covers 120% of the DCI-P3 color gamut — a first in the industry.

The Samsung-made panel offers a hardware feature of DC dimming at full brightness with low flicker frequency of 1 Hz, ensuring consistent colors even in low-brightness scenarios. It is also HDR certified and supports Dolby Vision.

The GT 7 Pro display will feature a trendy micro-quadrilateral design with sloped edges. Additionally, it will support the Qualcomm ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
