The head of Apple's marketing department, Greg Joswiak, announced on X Twitter an "exciting week" for new Macs. Several new models featuring M4 chips are anticipated.
Greg Joswiak did not specify any particular models or exact dates. What's clear is that there will be multiple announcements starting on October 28, indicating more than one Mac will be revealed. The announcement is accompanied by a short teaser featuring Apple and Mac branding.

However, leaks have surfaced online regarding the upcoming models Apple will unveil. Mark Gurman from Bloomberg claims that the company will unveil "Apple Intelligence on Monday, followed by the launch of M4 Macs, and the earnings report on Thursday," while a "hands-on experience" event is expected on Wednesday, suggesting that the computers should be announced by then. From these and other sources, it's also known that there may be an announcement for a 14” MacBook Pro with an M4 chip and an additional Thunderbolt port, as well as 14” and 16” MacBook Pro models with M4 Pro and M4 Max chips, a new iMac M4, Mac mini, and accessories like the Apple Magic Mouse, Magic Trackpad, and Magic Keyboard.
A post regarding the announcement was commented on by Ukrainian volunteer Igor Lachenko, who reminded Greg Joswiak that new MacBooks have already ended up in the hands of sanctioned Russians, quoting his previous post on the matter.
