iPhone SE 4 is on its way - what to expect from Apple's new "budget" device

Suppliers and partners of Apple are set to begin mass production of the new budget smartphone, the iPhone SE 4, in December of this year. This information was shared by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. Let's take a look at what to expect from this model.

According to existing reports, the next iPhone SE will feature a design similar to the base model of the iPhone 14. The smartphone is expected to have a 6.1-inch OLED display and support for biometric identification through Face ID.

Additionally, the Apple iPhone SE 4 will be equipped with a newer A-series processor and 8 GB of RAM, facilitating the capabilities of Apple Intelligence. Simultaneously, the device will include a single 48-megapixel camera, a USB-C charging port, and the first 5G modem developed by Apple.

The new iPhone SE is anticipated to launch in the first half of 2025, likely in March or April. Accordingly, the start of mass production for the device, expected in December, is scheduled with this timeline in mind. Kuo estimates that Apple's suppliers will produce around 8.6 million iPhone SE 4 units during the first quarter of the upcoming year.
