The flagship Xiaomi 15 Ultra has received new renders that align with previously leaked schematics. Meanwhile, the lower-tier smartphones in the lineup have had their release dates leaked.
Unlike the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro, which are set to launch later this month, the top-tier model is expected to debut only in February. The first renders of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra have surfaced, showcasing a bold yet predictable camera arrangement. Although the camera island retains the signature round shape of the Ultra series, the placement of the lenses is asymmetrical and appears slightly crooked.
Despite this, this configuration is the most likely, according to the recently leaked schematics. Now we have a chance to see how it looks on the outside.
The source of the images notes that the only camera on top is a 200 MP periscope camera with 4.3x zoom and a Samsung ISOCELL HP9 sensor. In the lower row, there are a 50 MP main camera, a 50 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50 MP 2x telephoto camera. For selfies, there’s a 32 MP camera.
Preliminary information suggests that the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will feature a 6.7-inch 120 Hz LTPO OLED display with micro-curvatures, a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, and a 6000 mAh battery supporting 90W wired and 80W wireless charging. From day one, the Ultra will operate on HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15.
New information has also emerged regarding the release dates for the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro. Official posters have leaked, indicating that the Xiaomi 15 will debut on October 29. Alongside, HyperOS 2.0 will be presented at the “See every light” event.
Previously, the unofficial release date had been set for October 23, but it is clear that this did not happen. The images provide more hope for a definitive date.
