Developers from Warhorse Studios unveiled a new gameplay trailer for the sequel to the popular role-playing game Kingdom Come: Deliverance at Gamescom ONL, showcasing the open world and realistic sword-fighting mechanics.
The developers have retained the realistic combat system from the first installment. Players will be able to deflect blows, block attacks, and execute precise sword strikes. Additionally, crossbows for ranged combat have been introduced. However, the creators warn: enemies will not falter before the player and will not surrender easily.
The trailer showcased stunning landscapes that the main character, Henry, will traverse on horseback. Players will be able to explore an open world while enjoying the picturesque scenery of medieval Bohemia.
Warhorse Studios announced the release of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 on February 11, 2025. The game will be available on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC (Steam).
The price for the standard edition on Steam is 1599₴, while the Gold Edition is priced at 2132₴.
Fans of the series will get to see more gameplay on August 21. The developers promise a 25-minute trailer "almost without cuts." On the same day, the studio will reveal the collector’s edition of the game and share early impressions from the press and content creators.
