The set includes legendary creatures from the game, such as myconids, beholder, displaced beast, and a huge red dragon.
Lego has finally revealed a Dungeons & Dragons set with 3745 elements, developed in collaboration with Wizards of the Coast (the company that has been releasing the tabletop game since 1997). The cost of the set is $360, and pre-orders can be placed in early April at the Lego Store (for Lego Insiders from April 1, for others - from the 4th).
The Dungeons & Dragons set is based on the design by Lucas Bolt, which was approved in January as part of the Lego Ideas contest. The set includes a roadside inn by the river, located near an ancient fortress, along with a guard tower and a dungeon. The Lego Design team replicated Bolt's original model, but added removable roofs and several additional details.
There are six Lego minifigures in the set: orc rogue, gnome fighter, elf wizard, dwarf cleric, dragonborn bard, and human villain (a set containing only minifigures will be available from the fall). You can also build monsters from Lego bricks - skeletons, owl bears, displaced beasts, gelatinous cube, of course, a big red dragon, and other creatures.
Lego will also release an adventure book that can be used during the game - it will be available from April 1 in both physical and digital formats.
