The strategic game Age of Empires Mobile is set to launch this fall following testing in several regions. This mobile version of the Age of Empires franchise has been developed by World's Edge and Xbox Game Studios in collaboration with TiMi Studios. It will be available on smartphones and tablets.
“At World's Edge, our aim is to bring the magic of Age of Empires to as many different types of players around the world as possible. Partnering with TiMi Studio Group means we can combine their expertise in mobile gaming with the strength of our franchise and story to provide a completely new perspective on Age of Empires to even more gamers in even more places,” said Michael Mann, head of World's Edge.
Developers have prepared a gameplay trailer for Age of Empires Mobile, allowing players to preview the upcoming game. Similar to the desktop version, users will need to gather resources, construct various buildings, and expand their empire. Naturally, combat will also play a significant role. The game includes real historical heroes who will assist in battles against foes. Additionally, the mobile game will feature collaboration with other players.
Pre-registration for Age of Empires Mobile is already available for Android and iOS platforms. The game is scheduled for release on October 17, 2024.
