Monobank will launch its own marketplace from October 21 - with gadgets and computer equipment

The marketplaceOnline marketplaces are companies that act as intermediaries between buyers and sellers from monobank will launch on October 21, but the bank's CEO, Oleg Gorokhovsky, has already revealed some details.

Initially, the mono marketplace will feature three product categories: gadgets, smart electronics, and computer equipment (around 20 thousand products in total). Partners include Moyo, KTS, and Click, with plans to include other suppliers in the future, promising “unprecedented rates 3 to 5 times lower than competitors” and “service without hassle and unnecessary communication.”

“We want to provide customers with what they expect from the service — simplicity, confidence, time savings, and good treatment.”

Customers are assured that products on the marketplace can be purchased “without overcharges or hidden fees” — the “buy in installments” option is also available.

Previously, screenshots of the service interface surfaced online, shared by fintech journalist, tester, and marketer Artem Bobok (which was first noted by the publication Mezha.Media):

Currently, monobank has over 8.8 million customers. According to Forbes, the founders forecast a 2.7 times increase in net profit this year (approximately $240 million).

Recall that in April, Ukraine's largest neobank received a new design (the first in 6 years) — the main screen also displays the card, account balance information, and recent transactions, but in a new layout. Most actions have been simplified, adding a swipe option and some 3D animations for switching between cards, and consolidating statements for all cards.

In August, monobank launched the mono checkout function, which will reduce the purchase completion time from five to one minute by filling in “boring” data on the website for you; while since yesterday, the “Group Expenses” service is available — to split bills for the company.

Also, in early October, monobank launched a payment acceptance service through its own terminals with a 4G module, with plans to increase the number to 15,000 within a year.
