NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang discussed how the company is transforming the computing landscape and emphasized that NVIDIA is not a "bubble." He referred to Elon Musk's achievement of creating an AI supercomputer in just 19 days as superhuman.

In a recent interview with Altimeter Capital, Huang stated that NVIDIA's prolonged growth is unlike the excitement surrounding Cisco at the peak of the dot-com bubble. He believes that NVIDIA is "revamping computing" and that the future of technology will be closely tied to "high-level machine learning."

The NVIDIA CEO reiterated that Moore's Law, in its classical form, is no longer applicable. To achieve the necessary growth in computing power, data centers will require around $1 trillion worth of GPUs over the next 4-5 years.

A part of the conversation that generated buzz involved Huang discussing how Musk's company xAI managed to rapidly connect 200,000 NVIDIA chips and activate them in their own data center. The entire process took merely 19 days—typically, such a comprehensive action requires significantly more time.

“...To build a huge factory with liquid cooling, under voltage, and to get permits in a short time, as it was done... I mean, that's something superhuman. It's true. And, as far as I know, there's only one person in the world who could do that; I mean, Elon is unique in understanding engineering, construction, and large systems, as well as resource distribution.”

NVIDIA is thriving, in part due to clients like Elon Musk: demand for AI chips is so high that stocks are sold out for the next 12 months. Some believe that such praise for a client, even a powerful one, is a bit excessive, and that Musk was not the sole creator of it all, with his uniqueness as a manager being exaggerated. However, his urgent working style, which enables him to achieve goals in extremely short timeframes, and his organizational skills, are well-known.
