HP is preparing to release a new high-end laptop with an AMD Ryzen AI 300 processor. This model has received support for artificial intelligence features and a rather long name, HP OmniBook Ultra 14-inch Laptop Next Gen AI PC.
The Ryzen AI 300 processor also includes an NPU block from AMD Ryzen AI. HP says it worked with AMD on the NPU chip, which will provide performance up to 55 TOPS. The system supports up to 32GB of RAM and a solid-state drive with a capacity of up to 2TB. The device is equipped with a 14-inch touch IPS display with a resolution of 2240x1400 pixels.
The HP OmniBook Ultra 14-inch Laptop Next Gen AI PC also features a 9-megapixel webcam, Wi-Fi 7 wireless communication module, and a battery that provides up to 21 hours of video playback. The weight of the novelty is about 1.58kg. HP says the laptop will receive a free update that will allow the use of Microsoft Copilot+ PC features in Windows 11, but there is currently no information on when this will happen.
The HP OmniBook Ultra 14-inch Laptop Next Gen AI PC will go on sale in August starting at $1449.99.
HP also announced two all-in-one computers, the HP OmniStudio X, with IPS displays measuring 27 and 31.5 inches. The smaller model's screen supports a resolution of 3840x2160 pixels. The 31.5-inch version offers a touchscreen panel but has a lower resolution of 2240x1400 pixels.
Both models can be equipped with Intel Core Ultra 5 or 7 processors, up to 32GB of RAM, a solid-state drive with a capacity of up to 2TB, and a 5-megapixel webcam. For the 31.5-inch model, there is the option to add an Nvidia GeForce 4050 graphics card.
The new HP OmniStudio X all-in-ones will be available to buyers in August starting at $1149.99.
