If something doesn't satisfy PC users, they find a way to change it. The requirement for God of War: Ragnarok to be tied to PSN is unpopular among many.

Just a few days after the release of God of War: Ragnarok, a mod appeared that eliminates the need for a PlayStation Network account. It is incredibly easy for users. Since this is a single-player game, there is no need for PSN or any other network for gameplay.

The mod completely removes the PlayStation PC SDK requirements from the game. All that users need to do is download the mod and copy the files version.dll and PsPcSdk.dll into the game's folder. That’s it; they can start the game.

Interestingly, due to the PSN account requirement, Sony has barred the game in several countries. Moreover, the game has already been cracked, and users who did not want to register for PSN frequently opted for the "pirated" version. Thus, the enforcement of PSN on PC renders itself pointless.

Upon its launch on PC, God of War: Ragnarok was plagued by numerous technical issues, some of which have already been addressed in patches. According to user feedback, the game is now in a satisfactory state.
