Insider Sonny Dickson has revealed the Apple iPhone 16 Pro mockups in the colors of the upcoming lineup. One of them is quite unexpected.
The images feature four color options for the iPhone 16 Pro, with the bronze color being introduced for the first time. Previously, there were rumors of a pink iPhone 16. This new color is too dark to support such speculations, making it a complete surprise. While the color might seem bold, the lighting conditions are unknown, and it might change before the actual release.
In addition to the bronze iPhone 16 Pro, the images also display white, black, and gray (likely titanium) variants. It is unclear if these are all the possible colors, but the iPhone Pro lineup has never been known for its vibrant color palette and diversity. It's safe to say that a pink device would have looked odd among the traditionally austere Pro models.
The bronze color is expected to replace Blue Titanium, while the other options closely resemble those available in the iPhone 15 Pro series. It's worth noting that rumors about the colors of Apple iPhone Pro do not always pan out, but in this case, there are at least photos instead of mere renders.
As a reminder, in February, there were reports of two new colors for the Apple iPhone 16 Pro — Desert Yellow / Desert Titanium and Cement Gray / Titanium Gray. The so-called yellow closely resembles the newly presented bronze. In May, there were also claims about a replacement for Blue Titanium in the lineup. Among other external features of the new series, rumors suggest thinner display bezels for all models and larger screens and overall dimensions for the iPhone 16 Pro.
