The long-awaited unofficial Fallout London expansion is very close to launch. The mod creators for the game Fallout 4 have already sent their files to the GOG store, which is collaborating with them.
After delaying the release due to the launch of Starfield, the modding team has set a new release window for April 2024. However, an update for Fallout 4 caused a further delay. Fans have been eagerly waiting for Fallout London for several months, but today the team hinted that the time is near. The online game store GOG, which is working with modders, has received several release candidate builds. After their review and approval, the launch will take place.
"There has been a lot of speculation about our future release, and we want to explain everything to our fans. The thing is, we have sent several compilations to GOG for quality control and are waiting for the final 'green light.' Once they complete the double-check process to see if Fallout London and its installer work on all supported machines, we will be ready to go (yes, we have our own installer and a version reduction program!). It is in our best interest for this final quality control process to be completed in full, and we are very grateful to GOG for their assistance. Although it may seem like nothing is happening, we can assure you that the department heads have been working continuously behind the scenes throughout this time to make the release build as good as possible. The end is in sight," the developers write.
Reminder that Fallout London requires Fallout 4 and all its DLCs. The expansion map is as big as the base game with the Far Harbor DLC. The mod includes 53 main quests, 35 side quests, 25 faction quests, 64 miscellaneous quests, 16 branching gangs, 7 companions (five of which are fully voiced, have detailed relationships with characters, and their own quests), as well as over 90,000 lines of voiced dialogue.
