E-Ink screens not only replicate the experience of reading on paper but also consume very little power. The new Digital View display operates without a battery, drawing the necessary energy from the wireless power module Wi-Charge.

Currently, this technology isn't the most convenient for reading, as the screen won't refresh outside the energy transmission zone. However, it serves as a decent option for retail advertising panels, informational displays in museums or art galleries, and touchscreen kiosks. The advantage of this solution is the ability to keep the display constantly on.

Power and information updates are delivered via built-in Wi-Fi. The Wi-Charge module can wirelessly power several devices simultaneously. Each display requires 500 mW to maintain the Wi-Fi connection, receive data, and render images, with significantly lower power needed during standby.

The data transmission module AirCord in the Digital View ESP6-13 ePaper model, which resembles a puck, is optionally available on the monitor's page and requires installation. The device utilizes infrared technology to transmit energy over a distance of approximately 9 meters.

The 13.3-inch color E Ink Spectra 6 ePaper display boasts a resolution of 1200 x 1600 pixels and sufficient brightness for very well-lit environments. The ESP6-13 monitor features an aluminum frame, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a USB-C port. As is common with business-oriented technologies, pricing details are not disclosed, but companies interested in more information can reach out to the manufacturer.
