Apple will show off new Macs with M4 next week - Mark Gurman

Mark Gurman from Bloomberg reported that the launch event for the Mac M4 is scheduled for next week by Apple.

Unfortunately, Gurman did not specify the exact day, but it is likely to be Tuesday:

“Apple has a busy week ahead: Apple Intelligence on Monday, followed by the M4 Mac launch, and earnings report on Thursday.”

In another note, Gurman added that Apple has invited journalists and bloggers to an event in Los Angeles next Wednesday for a "hands-on experience" — meaning new Macs should be unveiled by then.

Another insider, Sonny Dickson, confirmed that a new Mac mini with five USB-C ports might be released this week. He also provided some details regarding the models, considering the leak of cases and dummy models; however, some of his statements related to hardware have proven to be inaccurate.

What to Expect at the Presentation?

• 14-inch entry-level MacBook Pro with M4 chip and an additional Thunderbolt port.
• 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with M4 Pro and M4 Max chips.
• Updated iMac featuring the M4 chip.
• New Mac mini with a design similar to Apple TV, featuring two USB-C ports on the front and options for M4 and M4 Pro chips.
• Versions of Magic Mouse, Magic Trackpad, and Magic Keyboard with USB-C.

Previously, the 14-inch entry-level MacBook Pro with M4 chip appeared in several unboxing videos and was listed on Russian websites — a month prior to the actual premiere.
