The official unveiling of the new Xiaomi 15 smartphone is just a few days away, but some specifications of the device are already known. This model will be equipped with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite mobile processor, which was announced recently. Even before the actual release, the Xiaomi 15 has already been tested on Geekbench.
The results were recorded in the online database Geekbench 6.3.0. As shown in the screenshot, the device achieved an impressive single-core score of 3180 and a multi-core score of 10058. In comparison, the predecessor Xiaomi 14 shows scores of 2148 and 6685 points, respectively.
The tested Xiaomi 15 smartphone is equipped with 16 GB of RAM. It’s unclear whether this will be the only option available, or if other variants will be offered after the phone's launch. This prototype operates on Android 15, a version that Google released on its Pixel devices just last week. However, this doesn’t necessarily mean that the finalized release version of the Xiaomi 15 will run on Android 15 from day one.
The Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro models will be released simultaneously, with the presentation occurring later this month. The Ultra version will be unveiled in a subsequent month. Note that initially, the 15 and 15 Pro will only be sold in China. The global release of the Xiaomi 15 is expected in the future.
