At the "Let Loose" presentation, Apple introduced a new iPad Pro with an OLED display. The tablets with a diagonal of 13" and 11" have a fresh design, powerful hardware, and are thinner than ever. The new screens provide perfect black shades, better color saturation, and contrast.

Apple updated the camera modules of the iPad Pro, they produce better images, and the adaptive flash improves document scanning. The front camera has been moved to the horizontal edge, providing a better perspective for video calls.

The Apple iPad Pro screen has a dual OLED structure, which allows the display to achieve 1000 nits peak brightness and 1600 nits for HDR content. The larger model has a thickness of only 5.1 mm - Apple says this is its thinnest device (iPad Pro 11" - 5.3 mm). A matte screen with nanotexture is now available on the iPad Pro for the first time. Both iPad Pro models will now offer the same level of display quality. Starting in 2021, the larger 12.9" model had a Mini LED display, which is better than the smaller iPad Pro in many ways.

Apple has ditched the M3 chip for the iPad Pro and equipped the tablets with its latest M4 processor. According to Apple's claims, the processor is 2-4 times faster than the M2 in the previous generation iPad Pro, especially in games. Thermal characteristics have also improved by 20%. The new graphics processor provides hardware ray tracing and mesh shading in the iPad, with up to 4 times faster rendering compared to the M2. The new Neural Engine makes the M4 chip "an incredibly powerful AI chip," according to Apple.

The new iPad Pro has also received accessory updates. The Magic Keyboard features better coverage, an aluminum wrist rest, and a range of functional keys. The Apple Pencil Pro supports compression gestures, tactile feedback, gyroscope, and Find My Location tracking.

The base storage capacity for both iPad Pro models is 256GB, with a maximum of 2TB. Prices start at $999 (11") and $1299 (13"). Both are available for pre-order starting today and will be available in stores on May 15. The Apple iPad Pro 13" with 5G and nanotexture glass coating will cost $2599.
