It seems that Google is working on finally synchronizing notifications across all devices within its ecosystem. This is based on insights from Mishaal Rahman of Android Authority. He discovered a reference to a new feature called "sync across devices" in the beta version of Android 15.
The code snippet is apparently located in the Settings under the "Notifications" section. It is positioned between "sensitive notifications" and a new option for "notification snoozing," which Rahman found last week.
As Rahman notes, the notification synchronization feature is not yet available on Android. Once it is fully operational, if you dismiss a notification on an Android tablet, the same notification will appear later on your phone. This addition is likely to be beneficial for most users.
Judging by the placement of the sync code, the new feature is expected to be rolled out for the entire Android ecosystem, not just for Pixel devices. This opinion was expressed by Mishaal Rahman. However, due to the lack of accompanying documentation, it can't be definitively confirmed at this time.
