If the Tesla Cybertruck doesn't seem shiny enough, now you can purchase a mirror-polished version. One such vehicle is listed for sale on the Concierge Motors website for $149,999. It is unclear who is selling this used vehicle, which is almost twice as expensive as a brand-new fully-equipped Cybertruck and has a mileage of 2,414 km.
Polishing the stainless steel surface of the Cybertruck to a mirror finish has become somewhat of a trend among the owners of the unique Tesla pickup truck. Cybertruck owner Tyson Garvin previously mentioned that polishing the truck's surface made it less of a "fingerprint magnet," as the matte steel exterior of the Cybertruck is known for that particular property.
Transforming the powerful pickup truck into a moving mirror raises obvious safety concerns. Some social media users speculate that the modifications could make the Cybertruck practically invisible in certain situations. However, polishing the Cybertruck in this way is not illegal, at least in the United States.
The polished Cybertruck appeared on the secondary market eight months after Elon Musk personally marked the first deliveries of the vehicle, which had long been delayed.
Currently, Tesla charges a $50,000 resale fee (confirmed through the source link) from Cybertruck owners who sell within a year. It appears that the company has increased the production of the pickup truck - this month, Musk told shareholders that Tesla is now producing around 1,300 Cybertrucks per week. The company faced difficulties with the Cybertruck, and Elon Musk admitted that Tesla "dug its own grave" with the unique design of the vehicle.
