According to unofficial sources, British actor Jake Lampert, known for the series "Andor," will portray a minor character in The Witcher 4, also referred to as Project Polaris.
The information leaked through the actor's profile on Spotlight. It is unclear who the character named Branko is and what role he will play.
The Slavic name Branko suggests that he is likely from Redania or other Northern kingdoms, of common origin rather than an aristocrat. It seems he is a secondary character, but notable enough to be played by a relatively well-known actor.
Another crucial piece of information from this leak is the estimated release window for the game. This is corroborated by an earlier leak from a placeholder page on GOG.com, which mentioned December 31, 2025. Back in October 2022, CD Projekt Red stated that it would be at least three years until The Witcher 4 was released. New data may indicate that the game's development is proceeding without delays.
Currently, it is known that Witcher 4 has likely completed its pre-production phase. Over 400 people are working on it—most of whom are CD Projekt RED staff. Actor Doug Cockle will continue to voice Geralt, who, however, will not be the main character in the game. Developers say they will learn from all the launch issues of Cyberpunk 2077, ensuring that The Witcher 4 will be the most polished of the company's games at launch.
