The most popular crossovers of 2024: Tesla Model Y, Toyota RAV4, Honda CR-V and more

The focus2move resource has released the global ranking of the best-selling crossovers as of August 2024. The most popular crossover by August 2024 remains the Tesla Model Y, which leads with sales of 754,691 units. Sales of this model have increased by +4.3%.

In second place is the Toyota RAV4 with sales of 654,694 units, up 16.7% compared to the same period last year. The honorable third place goes to the Honda CR-V with sales of 479,875 units. This model has seen the largest growth in relative terms — at +41.1%. It is noteworthy that the Honda CR-V was the segment leader from 2010 to 2015. Additionally, the BMW X3 climbed 6 positions in the Top 10, occupying the 10th place.
