NVIDIA and MediaTek are set to unveil a computer processor in the first half of 2025. It has already garnered support from major laptop and PC manufacturers. Naturally, the chip will feature artificial intelligence.

As NVIDIA collaborates with MediaTek in producing chips for monitors and automotive applications, it is highly likely that the companies will continue to develop other processors. Reports indicate that the joint processor "NVIDIA x MediaTek AI PC" is anticipated in the second half of next year, with production already underway.

NVIDIA possesses practical experience in creating powerful graphics processors, such as the Tegra—though its success has been limited. Last year, MediaTek became a leader in the mobile chip market and has the opportunity to enter the PC sector, similar to how Qualcomm did with its Snapdragon X. Rumors regarding the new processor and the integration of NVIDIA graphics into MediaTek chips have been circulating for some time.

According to new information, the NVIDIA and MediaTek processor is being developed using TSMC's 3 nm process technology based on the ARM architecture. Additionally, it is likely that NVIDIA will introduce next-generation iGPU within the chip. There are currently no further specifications or details available.

The source notes that companies such as Lenovo, Dell, HP, and ASUS have shown interest in the project, and new chips are expected to be integrated into computers soon after their release. Given NVIDIA's capabilities and experience, these computer processors stand a good chance.
