Pavel Durov shared information about several new features that will soon be available in the Telegram messenger. Most of the updates focus on enhancements related to gifts.
According to Durov, 5 out of 10 updates are aimed at improving the functionality of gifts. Additionally, 3 updates are expected to enhance the functionality of hashtags. Furthermore, Telegram plans to introduce the ability to add media to a message after it has been sent. Currently, this option is unavailable, and to increase the media in a message, users must delete the original post and create a new one. The latest proposed feature is the ability to view the time a message was edited.
Durov stated that the Telegram development team quickly implemented a preliminary version of these new features.
“Just yesterday, I proposed 10 improvements for our apps. We prepared the designs on the same day, and today we already have fully functional builds with these features,” said the head of Telegram.
So far, there is no information on when these new features will be available to the general public.
