Lenovo has commenced the rollout of the ThinkPad T14s Gen 6. The company boasts that this laptop with the Snapdragon X Elite processor can last up to 29 hours on a single charge.
Even among other Windows 11 laptops equipped with Qualcomm processors, this battery life is exceptional. Of course, marketing claims don’t always align with reality, but they must be based on something.
It is known that Lenovo measured the 29 hours of battery life for the ThinkPad T14s during a local video playback test. This impressive performance is facilitated by a built-in 58 Wh battery — a moderate capacity for a modern thin and light laptop that weighs just 1.24 kg and has a thickness of 16.9 mm.
The Lenovo ThinkPad T14s is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite processor featuring 12 Oryon cores based on ARM architecture. The cooling system is reported to have dual fans. The laptop comes with 32 GB of LPDDR5x RAM clocked at 8448 MHz and a 1 TB SSD.
The 14-inch display offers a resolution of 2800 x 1800 pixels (2.8K) and is certified with HDR True Black 500, boasting 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space, Dolby Vision support, an anti-glare coating, and reduced blue light emission.
The ThinkPad T14s is equipped with 2 USB-A ports, 2 Thunderbolt 4 ports, 1 HDMI 2.1 port, a SIM card slot, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 7, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a noise-cancelling microphone. Designed primarily for business use, this laptop offers a superior selection of ports compared to many consumer models and includes special features that enhance its durability.
The laptop is already available for purchase in the official Lenovo store in the US priced at $1754, noted to have a 35% discount from the original price of $2699. In the Ukrainian Lenovo store, the ThinkPad T14s is currently out of stock.
